Introduction
John Burkhardt gave an inspirational talk on installing DCC decoders in HO locomotives. You can download his presentation (Installing DCC Decoders - a PDF File) by going to the Download Page under the heading ... How to?.
At the end of the talk SAG members were given the opportunity to visit John's digital layout. John runs a free lance American railroad
between Utah and Cheyenne incorporating Denver as the main centre. The period is late steam / early diesel. Long drags are in mind with
the large curves and low gradients (max 1%). The layout is built for operation to a time schedule, hence the radio operated digital command control system.
